Trashy Art

That great huge pile of debris you see in the photo below sits next to The Bay Model building is dredged up from the Bay, dumped in that smelly heap, then eventually hauled away to a landfill somewhere. It is the refuse from the boats that travel the channel.  It is dumped over to pollute, to spoil the water, and to harm the wildlife.



The following is artwork created from some of that debris in an effort to show just a bit of the magnitude of the problem.
 
 




This 'quilt' of squares covered the better part of a wall some 15-20 feet high...
