Lunch and a Birthday Party

An Irish Prayer

May those that love us, love us.
And those that don't love us,
May God turn their hearts;
And if he doesn't turn their hearts,
May he turn their ankles
So we'll know them by their limping.

That was on the back of the menu where we had lunch.

I dined today in Anoka with Allan and his mom, Donna Mae...

along with Allan's very good friend, Connie and myself.

Donna Mae had a secret she was not sharing but she informed us that we would be meeting together this evening and going out to eat at a very special place.

Those of us that were to be at the meeting place were--me, David (D.M.s son), grandson Kyle, son-in-law Tim with wife Becky (D.M.s daughter), Donna Mae, Connie and Allan,

After a short but serpentine drive we arrived at this home --which turned out to belong to very good friends of the family.

Donna Mae had arranged for her friends to prepare a birthday party for Allan.  It resulted in a very scrumptious meal and a wonderful night to remember.

I think Allan was impressed,

Becky, Me and David

Make a wish!

These were the special friends who opened their home to Allan's family for a lovely and memorable evening,

Happy Birthday, Allan
