The Ringling Gardens

As I recall there were 80 acres of gardens and grounds.  Small trams are driven by volunteers who really seem to love their jobs. They run continuously from one area to another and were a great source of information about the property and the family that lived here.


You could wander at will, sit and meditate and even a few people were picnicking.

There were lots of these little statues watching the people walk by...

She was the only woman I found of the 20 or 30 I saw.

Can you see the statue that is being consumed by the banyan tree?

Don't stand too long under this tree--I think it's looking for a victim too.
