The following pictures were taken from the second boat trip to pick up hikers.
This time I rode on top with Tom and enjoyed the sun and spray.

It looks like a scene from the reality show 'Survivor'.
While returning to Cruz Bay we passed the Sandpiper, the sloop that Tom and Amy sailed in around the world. Sadly, the boat is owned now by someone in Texas who painted the teak wood trim red (Yikes!) then flew back home and left the boat to the elements. A boat on the water needs constant care and Sandpiper is beginning to show neglect. It's sad to see her this way.
